Product Description
Overhead cable are insulated power transmission cables specifically designed for outdoor overhead installation. They typically use hard copper, hard aluminum, or steel-cored aluminum stranded wire as conductors, with an outer layer of weather-resistant polyethylene (PE) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. Some models can be equipped with armored or termite-proof sheaths. Rated voltages cover low voltage (0.6/1kV) to high voltage (110kV). They combine the advantages of low cost and good heat dissipation of bare overhead lines with the characteristics of insulated cables, such as leakage prevention, interference resistance, and high safety factor. They can be directly suspended from utility poles or towers and are suitable for urban and rural power distribution network upgrades, industrial park power supply, rural power grid upgrades, and other scenarios. They can withstand harsh outdoor environments such as wind, sun, rain, snow, ice, and ultraviolet radiation, and are easy to maintain and have a long service life.
