BTTZ fireproof cable is a high-performance mineral insulated cable, mainly composed of copper core, magnesium oxide insulation material and copper sheath. It has excellent fireproof performance and can maintain power supply even under fire conditions close to the melting point of copper (1083ºC), in line with BS 6387 standards. Its normal operating temperature can reach 250ºC, and it can maintain short-term operation for 30 minutes under the extreme state of 1000ºC.
BTTZ cable has a large current carrying capacity. Due to the high thermal conductivity and good heat dissipation of magnesium oxide insulation material, the current carrying capacity of BTTZ cable with the same cross-section is 30% higher than that of ordinary cable. The seamless copper sheath design makes it prevent erosion by water, oil and chemicals, and has explosion-proof characteristics.
